Hi. My name is Ka Hoe and I’m the founder of J Advisory. So I’m back with another Money Misconception which I think many of you had before which everybody including myself am guilty of saying money is not everything. But at the same time, I’m sure you heard of this saying that oh, everything is also money. So what do I think about this money misconception? I will say I’m on the fence because it depends on which stage you are.
When people keep saying that you know money is not everything is because I think early in their life, like for example myself. I used to say that because I came from a family where my parents work hard to put everything in place where we are provided for and I’m truly grateful for that because it was only when I became a parent to three lovely kids that I keep saying that hey, you know, everything happened to be money, which really means about having to put food on the table having to put having a roof over your head which really makes a very big difference between and depending on which stage you are right?
When you look at the Maslow’s Law hierarchy of needs basically is talking about those people who are either focusing on the top part of the pyramid, right? And when people keep using like, you know but everything is money. They actually be focusing on the bottom part, which is talking about survival and making sure your basic necessity is covered for.
Let me know in the comment section and I’ll share with you this Maslow’s Law which I find it very beneficial because if we do not fulfill each step of the way, we will never be able to be truly happy because we are focusing on the survival and basic necessity just like how we are going through the pandemic right now. So I’ll see you guys in the next video and remember to comment and share this video to somebody who needs it.
