Is money the root of all evil? 

Hi, my name is Ka Hoe and I’m the founder of J Advisory And today I’m back with a very famous one-liner. I think everybody thought before is money the root of all evil? So what do you think? Do let me know because I made a video earlier which relates a lot to this particular topic which was talking about are all rich people dishonest and greedy right? So I just want to take some time to share with you this particular famous one-liner. 

I felt that I guess when I was very young

I keep hearing this and in a way where we go all the time. We were watching a lot of movies trying to solve brainwashing to think that all the good people or all the rich people are actually the ones that have all the money and are very rich and very wealthy from actually doing the bad stuff, you know like in stealing robbing selling drugs. That’s what we’ve always been brainwashed to see in the movies, right? 

So I guess when I learn more about, you know, personal finance and financial planning and as we grow up we realize that there’s a lot of good people with a lot of money that are actually doing a lot of good stuff right? So one of the two people that I want to share with you here is Bill and Melinda Gates where they set up the Gates Foundation. So after Bill Gates managed to be very very wealthy from his Microsoft company. He basically took a step back from management and ran into a lot of philanthropy and what is really great about this foundation is actually contributes to a lot of the health industry that education industry to really make a positive impact to many many lives. And this is how Warren Buffett contributes a big proportion of his wealth to The Gates Foundation as well. 

And I truly believe that it’s not really about whether money is the root of all evil

I believe it’s really the person behind the money. So I’m sure you’ve heard of this famous one-liner before by Peter Parker aka Spider-Man “With great power comes great responsibility”. So I guess when you are bestowed a big amount of money there really will be able to tell your inner character as a person. Whether do you actually do more good things or do more evil stuff?
